In 2003, Xlab established a special XLAB Research Group with the purpose of conducting basic and applied research. The XLAB Research's main interest are distributed systems. They focus particularly on GRID computing, distributed multi agent technologies and P2P systems. |

XLAB Research is also involved in several national and European research projects (FP6 / FP7). Working hand in hand with many research institutions, universities and research departments around the world, their activities are centered on integrating existing GRID solutions and P2P protocols with an extension of agent technologies. |
