Medica in Dusseldorf is the largest medical trade show in the world. Every year in November Medica gathers all the major players in the field to exchange ideas, new technologies and questions the future of health care. Beside fair itself, Medica features a lively congress programme. COMPAMED showed numerous innovations in high tech solutions for medical technology; MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE hosted renowned experts like prof. Jonathan Clark, medical director of the Red Bull-Stratos project presenting exciting insights into the latest methods used in performance diagnostics and sports medicine. MEDICA EDUCATION CONFERENCE, MEDICA HEALTH IT FORUM, MEDICA CONNECTED HEALTHCARE FORUM…and many many more.
Of course we were there, exhibiting TeleTransfusion second time in a row. TeleTransfusion enables a single doctor validating pre-transfusion cases remotely for many distant blood banks. The functionality is nationally deployed in Slovenia and its benefits were welcomed by visitors, especially the ones who are dealing with shortage of medical professionals or long distances. We are glad to meet with old partners and developing new business opportunities with the future ones. We have also met with several other companies developing exciting telemedicine application in other fields, no doubt we will shape the future of health care together.
