Backend Developer – Pharmacy (Java, Spring, MariaDB)

Within the medical department at XLAB, we are looking for an A Player to become a key part of the team developing a new IT product in the field of medication management, set to launch by the end of the year. What will your role be?

• You will oversee backend development and work closely with a team of eight experienced members. Additionally, we have five external collaborators on the team, and pharmacists with extensive industry experience are involved in the process on a daily basis.
• You will develop robust solutions using Java 21, the Spring Framework, and MariaDB. Together, we will create a product that changes the rules of the game in the pharmaceutical industry.

Additional Information:

• Work location: Technology Park, Ljubljana.
• Work arrangement: Four days on-site and one day remote, due to the nature of the work and early stage of the product development. Once the product stabilizes, remote work will be more flexible.
• Employment options: Either a regular employment contract or freelance (s.p.). For regular employment, we offer a permanent or fixed-term contract with a six-month probation period.
