    Factories of the Future Resources, Technology, Infrastructure and Services for Simulation and Modelling

    The central objective of Fortissimo project is to enable European industry to be more competitive globally through the use of simulation services running on an HPC-based cloud infrastructure and making them accessible to industrial users, particularly SMEs, through the creation of a “one-stop shop” where infrastructure, expertise, applications and visualization tools are easily available and affordable on a pay-per-use basis.

    Open Call for HPC-Cloud-based Application Experiments for the FORTISSIMO project

    XLAB’s role

    XLAB’s will act as a HPC Expert, participating in the design, development and integration of core services for the platform (WP2). Also, we will help withthe deployment, operation and maintenance of the Fortissimo Marketplace and HPC Cloud infrastructure (WP3). XLAB will take part in the experiment Cloud-based simulation of aerodynamics of light aircraft, enabling software for cloud (WP 401). We will analyse the marketplace for HPC-Cloud based simulation and propose innovative business models (WP 403 leader).
