SLA@SOI envisions a business-ready service-oriented infrastructure empowering the service economy in a flexible and dependable way. Main objective of the project is to define a holistic approach for the management of service level agreements (SLAs) and to implement an SLA management framework that can be easily integrated into a service-oriented infrastructure (SOI). The approach will allow for easy trading of IT services as an economic asset as it combines dependable service characteristics, business and IT transparency at the provider side, and a highly automated interaction process between consumers and providers.

Industrial relevance is assured by various representative industrial use cases, covering areas such as ERP hosting, public telecommunication services, Enterprise IT management, eGovernment and Financial Grids.
